OOC - Just for a bit of fun, since I've heard so many ladies comment on him lately, which Johnny Depp style do you prefer?

Personally, I've enjoyed his period horror movies, but I also loved Ninth Gate.

Ohh man this is a toss up! hehe.
I really loved him in Benny and June, but I went with the pirate one. He made one hell of a pirate. And I'm kind of partial to pirates and all that jazz. /innocent look.

You are such a dork, I swear.

But I voted for Gothic Johnny. There's a certain bit of joy I get from Edward Scissorhands and Sleepy Hollow [ the latter improved greatly by the involvement of both Tim Burton and Danny Elfman ].

Everyone likes the pirate, although I personally think that's a bit overrated [ Yeah I said it ]. I think the only reason why people saw Pirates was because it had both him AND Orlando Bloom in it [ double the bang for your buck - hell, that was the only reason I saw it. Poor Orlando, he was reading off of cue cards the entire time ], despite the mind-grating lines in that film and predicatable plot.

And why didn't you have Hunter S. Thompson Johnny on here? "Fear and Loathing" is excellent merely for revealing his chicken legs and having him swat at bats that only he could see.

"Holy Jesus, what are these goddamn animals?!"

Ahahahaa....

I'm a loser.

-A!

P.S. I think next you should do an Orlando Bloom one. Even though I got my first taste of him as Legolas [ and have one of those cardboard standups of him that scares me every morning when I wake up ], I undoubtly think he's sexier with his naturally big brown eyes and messy curly brown hair. HA!

Yes, I'm a dork. Most people that know me call me that, and I accept it heartily. I am into LOTR, Star Trek, comics, Dungeons and Dragons, and all that goes with it.

I also had four (yes, four) women comment on their undying physical attraction to Johnny in the space of a single day, and this got me to thinking, thus this poll. There are times, to me, he's still the smart mouthed punk on Jump Street, and there are times that I'm incredibly jealous that he's been associated with Winona Ryder and Christina Ricci.

Yes, I also agree that he's a gifted actor, and wish that he'd do more movies with other actors capable of serious depth. (I'd like to see him alongside Val Kilmer, in something with some strong writing and directing, like Tombstone.)

As for an Orlando poll, I'm working on it. (So, do you prefer Orli with his current hair, the Legolas hair, or the mohawk that he had in order to wear the Legolas hair?)

Stalwartone.

You didn't have my movie choice which was "Crybaby" so I don't know if that was his Young Action Star phase or not. I think it was, but not sure. I liked how he looked in that and how he acted. hehe.

Sexy:devil:

Curse that goofy-lookin' mohawk of his AND that damn hat. He has one of the most atrocious yellow hats I think I've seen in my entire life.

Oh Orlando. Dressing in the dark is not your friend.

Personally, I think Depp and Burton make the best team, but I'm biased towards the latter. I'm really looking forward to the "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory" remake, simply because I don't know what the hell to expect. Maybe it'll be something like "Frankenweenie", ha!

Well, I can I watched Pirates not because of those two. I just loved how the effects were, the transitions from the mortal skin to skellies just rocked big time. though, having depp in it was a total bonus. But not the reason I watched it.

As for Orlando, I have to go with LOTR on that one. That was my first taste of him, and I loved how he carried out the role of a ranger elf. Just the whole look on that was awesome.
I liked him in Pirates as well, but lotr was a better role for him. Course, I haven't seen to many other movies of his either.

My all time favorite actor was/ has and always will be Sean Connery............ And no, has nothing what so ever to do with those James bond movies. those make me sick.. I just love him as an actor.

Also recently found a place for Michael Wincott... him with long hair.... ummm I'll leave that one alone. hehe.

But...but can't I have them all?

It was a toss up for me between Gothic Johnny and Romantic Johnny. I picked Romantic.

I love that scene in "Chocolat" when he turns to Juliet Binoche, gives her the once-over, and says, "I'll have to come over sometime and fix that squeak in your door."

Ah, what fodder for my fantasies!
