All is well on my side of the world for a change. My kid turns 11 next month. I still can't believe it, but she really is.

I might jump in and play 30/30, but I'm doing Camp NaNoWriMo too in April.

Ange, I did a poem in the Suddenly thread. I wouldn't come here without one. It's almost required! The poem is about my upstairs neighbor who is either a pony in disguise or she's using a hammer to test the floor integrity.

You're probably safer in Japan than in the US right now, given the choices your country has been offered. I have a friend in Japan. I'll facebook him and see if he'd like to connect with a mad poet. LOL He's my age though, so may be a little too much of a partier for you. Let me know.

Me? I haven't been writing poetry lately, just horror stories (which my poetry would be if I tried). My oldest is 21 and I'm 49! After lurking for 7 month, I remember writing my first triolet in 2003, "26 Licks" for my 26th birthday that Ange reviewed... it was terrible but she was kind so I stuck around for awhile at the PoBo (don't go looking for the poem, it doesn't exist anymore!)

Jamis!!! Hughughugsmoochsmooch!! What a delight to see you my friend. 49 eh? That must mean I'm uhm really old. And your oldest is 21? Wow! Last time we talked I think she was around 12...and an only child. My babies are in their 30s now. Tempus fugit. I won't ask you to write with us (unless you do want to produce a horror poem) or out you as the fiend who started the 30 poems in 30 days thread...or the hero who gave us the 5 senses prompt. People still write in both those threads.

So yeah I'm still here. Every year I tell myself this is the last one and then I stick around. It's home. Our buddy Tzara is still here too and Remec and 4degrees still post on occasion. Champagne runs a thriving poetry group on another site. She's doing great. Oh and remember Denis Hale? Very talented guy? He's published four volumes of poetry now and is poetry editor for an online journal. We've lost a lot of our old regulars too. My sweet eagleyez passed in 2014 and over the past few years we lost both UnderYourSpell and Tristesse...real blows to the forum. I like to think I have a lot of poetry guardian angels now.

It's wonderful to know you're still kicking and writing. Life here is the States is well...can I come live with you? And bring my kids?
