A kitten actually. She's about 11 weeks old and is a dark tortoise shell, very pretty, but oh ever so busy. She likes to hide in my potted plants and jump out at me, or whoever happens to be walking past. I had forgotten how busy kittens are!

Yes, kinda like that, KS, only on her hind legs.

I think, she thinks she's a ninja

all kittens are adorable until that first time you let them sleep in your bed.

I remember when my cat "him" was young he was a terror and I had cuts all over my legs and arms. Went away on a date and came home to two broken lamps from him flyin off the couch and walls.

Get with the pics, stingy.

Bless you for taking her in. She needs love and care just as much as we all do!

I remember, once, when I brought a tiny homeless kitten into the home. My husband was sitting on the sofa in the living room watching a movie...he was barefoot with his heels resting on the floor.

The kitten was jumping, leaping, hissing and flipping over like a maniac in front of his feet.

I asked what the hell was wrong with the kitten?

Husband wiggled his toes, looked at me and told me..."he's outnumbered".

Cutest thing ever.

I recently promised my husband that we won't have anymore cats when our two are gone. I forgot to mention to him that it could be another 15 years until then though.

I wasn't planning on another house cat, but...

Our old cat, affectionately known as Granny Cat, is less than impressed with the kitten. But the kitten seems not to give a care about GC's lack of positive opinion of her.

I love kittens! She's so cute, what'd you name her? Are we to help choosing a name?

Felines have a way of choosing you, and she's adorable.

Awww....Bidin~Time....she's beautiful!

Nature did a good job makin her, didn't it?

And you were right, she was a rescue; dumped on the side of the road but found her way to a family member's house. Due to some health issues they couldn't keep her, so they called me.

I'm such a pushover.

Well, she's all enamored of the computer screen, so we named her Pixel. I have developed a habit of calling her Ninjacat...it hasn't seemed to confuse her.

Just when she's attacked me for the umpteenth time, she comes and lays beside me in the chair and falls asleep...purring. You could almost die from the cuteness.

OMG! Bidin~Time!!! That's what we named OUR little girl!...er...cat!!!!

We've had her 17 years now and she's the happiest cat on earth!

Pixel lives out in our sunroom but comes into the home whenever she wants. She's a gentle, loving little cat. Quite healthy for her years.

I am still reeling over the fact you named her "PIXEL". When I'm trying to call her in..."Pixel" or "Pixiepoo" doesn't do it anymore. When I call out "Pixelicious", she comes-a-running. LOL Shaking a bag of her favorite treats definitely helps.

Husband named her...she was about 5 weeks old when I brought her into the home. He was back in his office working.

I handed her to him (despite his objections that he didn't want another cat and that he was working)....

3 hours later I quietly went into his office as he held her tiny body in one hand as she slept...looking lovingly down at her and stroking her gently with one finger.

That was all she wrote.
