Water balloons.
Don't ya just love 'em?
My hubby and I delivered 200 filled balloons to our daughter's last day of school party this past week. It's tradition, you see, for the much older alumni (6th grade - lol) to crash the younger student's party and pelt them with water balloons.
It's all in good fun, no serious fighting, just everyone getting wet and muddy.
BUT we could not leave our child and her friends unarmed! So we filled the balloons (getting completely soaked in the process - damn things explode so easily when you try to tie them off) and then drove to the park with two tubs of ammunition for the many happy children.
We didn't stay for the carnage - figured they could handle things without any parents hanging around - but when we picked up the kids from school they were grinning and covered in mud from head to toe.
Apparently a good time was had by all.
