Boy inside the man.

Tom Cochrane.

Everytime I hear that song, no matter what I'm doing or where I am, I'm instantly brought back to my teens, and a smile comes over my face. It was "that" summer, and it was the best one of my life.

What obscure or semi-obscure song does it to you?

"Mental Obsession" by the Judy's (whom only the Texans will know, I think). Also "Jump the Funk" by another now-defunct Texas band named Bad Mutha' Goose. *sigh* I miss the 80's.

Old fart.

Everytime I hear Hicky Burr, I cringe in embarassment....because I quoted the song to the artist and he looked at me as if I had lobsters coming out of my ears.

Jay Ferguson - Thunder Island

One song that still stops me in my tracks and takes me back.

Then again, my grandparents owned a bar so many songs from the 60s and early 70s also trigger memories..

"Kelli! Get off that shuffle board table.. it is NOT a sandbox!!"

i loved being a kid.

Now shaddup, I'm dl'ing some Altered Images. :D

I keep telling you I'm 25 damnit. Now, I've sent you the cheque and you're obligated to agree with me.

As funny as it sounds..

"The Sign" by Ace Of Base. At the time it was big, it was my girlfriend's favorite song so of course I heard it.. LOTS!

Others off the top of my head: "Have You Ever Needed Someone So Bad" by Def Leppard, "Set Adrift On Memory Bliss" by PM Dawn, "Are You Gonna Go My Way" and "Believe" by Lenny Kravitz

GTR - When the Heart Rules the Mind.

Reminds me of a fling I had in Virginia....So sweet.

"Emperor's New Clothes" by Sinead O'Connor always brings me back down to earth.

Any song of Meatloaf's Bat out of Hell album does the teenage thing.
