And, in general, the people of Russia are so cowed by the Russian “deep state”, that they don’t dare question anything.

Prigozhin’s assassination was a clear message to anyone questioning anything.

The drone strikes in Moscow are coming from Russia. I am thinking Wagner reprisal. I believe Pootin is on the move.

All of Russia’s senior "leaders" are so deep into corruption, murder, and war crimes, that it would take a popular revolution or a purge by defenestration on a grand scale, conducted by junior "leaders", for anything to change in a meaningful way imho.

Again, I can see there being those in the Russian leadership who want to get out of the war on Ukraine and might use Putin's death/fall from power as an opportunity to back out of it.
