Some suggestions.

1.) Pick a location ON THE HIGHWAY. Nothing that requires people to consult or print out a map to find. If you have people making the effort to drive in from out of town, have the courtesy to make it easy to find.

2.) The quality of the music is a silly reason to pick a place where people will be trying to meet and have conversations. The TV at the place in Austin was too loud and made genuine conversation a halting thing at times. Not everyone is 19. Loud music is for dancing or picking up a lover. In fantasy, that would be great for us Lit-i-zens. In reality, that makes it less likely folks would return in the future. Remember, we want this to be a GOOD experience.

3.) Consider nametags. It really makes a difference.

4.) Do not "start the party" until half way through the predesignated time. ESPECIALLY if the location is not as easy to find.

5.) Make sure they serve jalepenos. :p
