I have never gotten anything pierced and have never had a desire too. I have had a lot of people tell me I would look good with my ear/s pierced but I just think I would look weird.

I was looking at the Piercing thread and saw the Frenum Piercing. Now for some reason, I have no idea why, I sort of want to have that done. It is still something I need to think about for a lot longer, but I am thinking about it seriously. That is something I would have never done before.

So I would like to hear from anyone that has had this done or knows of someone who has had it. I have read the info on that site but just want to get some more personal experiences.

About how painful was it?
Any kind of complications?
Thought about getting more then one after the first?
How much did the one week with no sex suck?
What was it like using a condom with the piercing?

I don't use condoms with my gf. We never have except for one or two times. I have not used a condom in so long I dont even know if i remember how to put them on or take them off

I've never had this done, but knew a guy that did. He said it wasn't all that painful. Didn't have any complications. The guy was also pretty much a jewerly store by the time all his piercing was done . Doing without sex for a week really sucked for him... he was a slut though LoL Don't know about the condom thing...as far as I know he never used them either.

If that's you in your av I wouldn't get my ears pierced either. I don't think it would look right either...but I really don't like earrings on most guys.

Frenum Peircing

I say go for it. Frenum piercings are more the pleasurable pain than the unpleasurable. Just make sure it's done safely and corectly. Most of your questions can be answered at:

Hey Azwed. There's a whole thread in How To... devoted to this subject. Well, okay, not frenum piercings specifically, but body mods. Angel started it eons ago.

Anyway, is that the thread you were reading through? I think you should ask this question *there*, too, since more people specifically go there to talk about piercings than come here for it (though you're right: we do probably have a sizable pierced population here).

One more thing, Azwed. In my experience, all piercings heal faster than the official estimates would have you believe. My clit hood piercing was suppposed to take 2-3 weeks to heal but was completely healed within a week, i swear. Every nipple piercing i ever had healed, or began to heal, far faster than the suggested times, too. Obviously i don't have any male piercings, but i've seen a whole bunch of them up close and personal, and they all seemed to heal pretty fast, too. I think the healing times are for slow healers or the outside estimation or something. You'll probably be back to normal far more quickly than the 3-6 month healing time given in the "official" estimates. Probably.

I was actually reading the Piercing thread on this board. I had completly forgot about Angel's thread.

I have been looking through those sites for a while now, but none of them seem to say what I need to do the peircing myself.

I don't know if I want someone else down there messing with things. I know how steady my own hand is and I have a pretty high tollerance for pain. I don't know if I can numb my dick like I can numb my hands and arms though. A little trick I have learned after working so long on cars, many of them still hot, is the dull the pain sensors in my hands and arms. I can't shut them off completly but if I concentrate for a little while I can reduce the sensativity a lot.

I tend to heal very fastso I am not so worried about the official time. I cracked/bruised half of my ribs during wrestling one year and was good to go in a little over 2 weeks.

Hmhh ok i just read a story at the BME place about a guy who fucked up his peircing. He put it in the wrong place and the hole just kept getting bigger. Hmhhhh.

I still don't know if I want to have someone else do it. I am going to have to think about it for a while longer. Maybe I could just find a place that would tell me the exact placement.

I knew a guy who has his cock pierced in 4 places. He called them "speed bumps."

As far as I know, he did have some trouble with condoms breaking if they weren't lubed on the inside against his rings. He took two out eventually, and they left some pretty painful-looking scars, but he couldn't feel much because of a medical malpractice. Go figure. God, he was hot. AND he was an incredible artist with a German accent. I thought I would swoon.

Be very very cautious with self piercings. Doing this is no different than pulling your own teeth or stitching up a nasty cut on yourself. If you have never done it before, you would be asking for trouble to try except in an emergency.

My theory on pain...I put myself in this frame of mind just before I had my child...naturally. Why worry about pain...it isn't going to last forever or your whole life. And when it is over...more then likely you will not remember it but remember the wonderful results. Worked for me when I got my piercing done. I remember one time I had a piercing done...I got worried when she said it was done. Cos I could not feel any pain at all...I thought that she had just pierced me and then forgot to put the ring in hehehe. I know this has nothing to do with your thread. But just a bit of a story about piercings.

And like most...I have always found that I heal really fast. With most of mine...I only had pain during the piercing.

Sorry I do not have any advice on any of your other concerns.
