So I got my belly button repierced on Tuesday

Let me tell you, scar tissue sucks.

I wish it had been done correctly the first time, then I wouldn't be as sore as I am now from having to get it redone.

I had the same problem when I got my ears re-pierced in my early teens. (I had them pierced when I was little, but they got infected and we had to let them grow over because I would scream everytime my mom tried to clean them. lol)

I cried like a lil' baby when they repierced my ears! lol I went with my sister who thought I was a complete wimp for crying. lol (My earlobes were SO much thicker than hers!)

Red Rose, that really stinks, but at least it was soft tissue. My belly button is sore (even though it doesn't look it) and I have to wear low-rise pants and jeans to work.

He pierced it too high, and after a couple of years it started growing out. I took the piercing out before it could break through my skin, let it heal, and went to a different piercer (the second one I went to is a nurse and pierces part-time).

I can even feel and see the difference between the first time I got it pierced and the second. This one is healing better and cleaner, and though it's really sore, it's not hurting in the same way.

re-peircing hurts! My poor babies we sooo tender the next day. great thing is though after like 3 days there's no more pain.

I used to want my belly button done when I was a teen, cause I had a reallllly sexy belly button. Then I had 3 kids.





Actually, I don't even have my ears peirced, but I've had them done at least 4 times that I can think of, and they always got infected even on 10, 14, and 24k gold. My ears were just too sensitive. After the last time, when my lobes tried to swallow the stud, I'm pretty much petrified to try and peirce anything.
