I so understand your "been there done that" when you speak about marriage! I been there and done that, too! You been thro the bad times of marriage, allow yaself enjoy the good times now!! You DO deserve to be happy, loved, treasured and all that! You are worth ALOT! And I am glad to see MasDom thinks the same, made me smile.

We didn't want traditional rings. I found the most awesome Nightmare Before Christmas Set on ebay.

The male ring says. " My dearest friend if you don't mind, I'd like to join you by your side.

The female ring says. " For it is plain as anyone can see, we are simple meant to be."

Problem is Disney discontinued them, and they are almost impossible to find. Found them on ebay for $900, however the female ring is only a size 5 and they can't be sized without messing up the text. *pouts*

So today he took me to Zales and these are the one's he picked out. His isn't exact to the pic. The skulls are up and down, not side to side. Mine is exact, black diamonds and all!:D

I can relate to the feelings too. For a long while after I seperated and then even for a few months after the devorce was final I felt like I wasn't sure about the whole marriage thing. I think I'm ready now. :eek:
 
Congrats!

I too had a horrible first marriage but I took the chance on a second one because he wanted me too. I've not been sorry!

Thank you!:kiss: I'm ready for the commitment. I have been. To me becoming his slave showed that much. Like I said jaded I think. It means so very much to him, and I can remember it being new and exciting like that. :)

I'm trying. :) I don't think it's the idea of marriage that has me so anxious so much as it is my health. He's been wanting to tie the knot for awhile now, and I know that, but we're kind of making it official in the midst of a lot of health problems.

So while I know he loves me, my mind can't help but wonder if it's a reaction to his fear of my mortality. I totally know it's not, but my mind...

That's why more of a promise ring thing or pre engagement. When we know more about my health I'll feel a lot better.

This is exactly what I mean, and my mom couldn't get it.

I was never afraid of the commentment. Hell I was willing to jump and move across the ocean long before I was comfortable seriously thinking about the M word. My mom didn't understand, if I wasn't afraid of commentment, then what the fuck was I afraid of. When I sat and thought about it for a while, I realized she was right
