"Now that there are American Tanks on the bridges of the River Tigris, do you think it is now time to surrender or sue for peace?"

Minister: "They will surrender. They will surrender or burn in their tanks.

Reporter: "Are you frightened, sir?"

Minister: "No, and you should not be either"

LMAO

I look forward to the day when he's led away in handcuffs. I wonder what he'll say then? LOL

I keep waiting for some American soldiers to pop up in the background at one of his briefings. I'd love for that to happen. :D

This is the same guy that said US forces were no where near Baghdad with fighting going on at the airport.

I have heard of denying bad situations for propraganda<sp> purpose, but this guy takes it to an entire new level of stupidity.

I can just see it. *wavey dream sequence*

Chaos in Baghdad, the sound of tanks and armoured fighting vehicles rumbling across the city. News reporters gather around the Iraqi Minister of Information, who strides confidently through the battle.

"There are no Americans in Baghdad! We have pushed them back to the border towns of Kuwait, victory is nearly ours...."

A large hand clasps him firmly on the shoulder, the camera panning to focus on the large US Marine.

"Sir, you are under arrest."

"I am not under arrest! It is I who am arresting you, invading Jewish infidel!"

More marines step in and wheel him away, still shouting.

:D

I love it! :D I'll be glued to CNN and Sky just waiting for that. LOL

I expect he will say 'This is a great victory for Saddam Hussein! We have the American forces exactly where we want them. Now we will rise up and crush them.'

Patriotic bullshit. Same as our own governments give us everyday.

Personally I take this as further incontrovertible evidence this is the real life yayati, without the other dog.

Come on the guy is great telly

I swear though in his last interview there was the touch , an ever so little smile on his lips.

He knows , that we know that he knows ..... ( with me ) its all bollocks.

He still has henchman watching the interview and I am just guessing that he is fairly fond of his tongue.

Som until he is 100% certain that he is free from the regime he will go on .

still bloody funny though :D

He's part of the regime!

He reminds me of an ex British Prime Minister, Harold Wilson.

It was said it was always easy to tell if he was lying................... his lips were moving!

somebody should look into

getting this guy a job as a comedy writer because he can tell some real zingers.

An old ploy, Deny, Deny, Deny

Use it myself a few times.

Anyone else think of the movie "Wizard of Oz" when they see this guy? I keep waiting for him to say "Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain."

The DJ on the radio was just talking about how much he loves this guy. The DJ was laughing about the Minister of Info standing in front of a bank of microphones, but when you looked down, you could see that only 3 of them were hooked up to anything. The rest were just props. :D

The Iraqi Minister of miss Information has achieved the impossible. He's one up'd the little Taliban mutt that use to keep us entertained for a couple of weeks.

One of the funnier things I had heard came from one of the journalists who attended that particular statement from the MoI. He said that had any of the cameramen widened their shots just a little more, they would have gotten three or four American tanks in the shot. ;)

I'm also waiting for a dozen Marines or so to pop into one of his press conferences. Maybe they'll wait until he takes questions, then pop up and say "Sure. I have a question. Who would you rather have try you, the Coalition or the Iraqi people?".

Mohammed Saeed al-Sahaf has become a living, breathing Saturday Night Live skit.

They should wait until he's on his bidet.

I swear, I've never seen so many bidets on TV until they started storming these palaces .. now they keep showing us the bidets ..
