Snowbound

Okay, 25 inches of snow is fun, and I was very happy to have the day off, but now I'm starting to lose my mind a little. I just got back from an "adventure": digging my car out of the hole into which it had sunk when I tried to go out to a friend's house. Now my ribs are sore and I'm sweaty and unhappy and I'm starting to wonder if maybe I'll have to eat my dog. Not because I'm starving, but just because it would break the monotony a little...

So here's my plan for the rest of the afternoon: 1) take a shower, 2) lie around the house naked and make phone calls with my legs spread open, just for fun, 3) briefly fantasize about showing up at my neighbor's door, wearing nothing but earmuffs and a thong, 4) discard the fantasy as soon as I remember that he's in his seventies, and I could go to jail if he dies, 5) play with my dog, Escher, and maybe teach him some amazing new trick, 6) read a few stories that were recommended to me, and 7) play with my toys...

Anyone else in Litworld snowbound today? What are you doing to amuse yourself?

i actually cleaned my house....now it's play time.. too bad my hubby is at work!

I'm in N. Va. I'm so glad I live in building with a parking garage. <WEG>

I actually drive into work today, but it was locked up tight and the mail was piled up against the door, so I returned home. Highways and main roads were more than fine. Side streets still had snow, but I just kept an even pace and plowed right thru. Helps to have AWD though.

Guess I don't have an excuse not to go to work tomorrow.
