Wow...I have not ever seen snow anywhere near Christmas. I am so jealous. 
I think that the snow we recieved here last year was to make up for several years either side, when we didn't/won't have a single flake of snow on Christmas.
My family came from Central America to spend the holidays with me, and it snowed almost every day that they were here, for a total of about 18"(give or take). They were excited to finally see snow, other than on TV, but I haven't seen snow in this area since then.
I love snow by the way.

Unfortunately, it is more flurries than actual snow right now. Sticking, but not enough yet to make everything white.
Our December last year was much the same- we had snow almost every day. Broke the record for December snowfall by lots of inches- we had almost 50 in December alone. This year- none yet! Until today.

I am extremely jealous... it's 6 degrees here (celcius of course), and I don't even need a coat to be comfortable, just a jacket.
I've been practically chanting the "Let it Snow" song *G*, hoping to persuade the Lady to see the rightness of snow at Christmastime in Canada.
Make a snow angel for me, would you, Cheyenne?

6 inches of snow here, all powder. Not too bad to shovel, but the wind is blowing it everywhere. Ah well, it can't be Christmas without snow.

My friend iz visiting there again for the Holidays, and she told me on the phone last night that there wuz no snow...We talked about Global Warming but I told her, maybe it'll start snowing by Sunday

Raining off and on in NYC now (temp in high 40s), and more rain is expected tomorrow.
I want SNOW! This is the closest I'm getting to snow this holiday, I guess:

I was just a bit farther in town and there is not quite as much there, though it is still white. But out by me it is definitely white! I'm not sure if we are to get anymore tomorrow or Tuesday, but it isn't supposed to get warm enough to melt what we already have. So, we will have a white Christmas!

We just got 4 inches of powdery snow yesterday and it has made Eastern Nebraska into a winter wonderland for Chistmas. Really put me in the spirit for Christmas.

YES!!! My chanting must have worked!!! *G* What perfection is that, snow on Christmas Eve!
It started very early this morning, and it's not stopping for a couple of days, according to the weather network. My kids and I had the best snowball war today, and made beautiful snow angels, and then built a fort before coming in for hot chocolate. What a great way to get into the Christmas spirit!

Thanks, Cheyenne! I certainly will enjoy it. We have the Winter Festival of Lights on here, and the colours reflecting on the snow is incredibly beautiful.
And there's nothing quite like romping in the snow to make you feel both young again, and very old *G*

we had quite a bit of snow come down in the last 24hrs.
according to the weather channel, we will be getting more snow everyday until next Monday.
i love it!
i dont know the metric equivelant of it but we could get up to 30cm more of it by then. either way, it is a lot of snow!!
