Snow!!!!

Looks like you really got your white Christmas after all, batter! Don't you feel sorry for the people who never get a chance to see the beauty of newly fallen snow?

gotta love it.
i took these right out the front door of the dugout.
i love this time of year.
Thanks so much for posting these wonderful snowy pictures!

I'm missing the snow days very much; in NYC there is only a "chance of flurries" in this week's forecast, but at least the temperature feels wintry these days.

Enjoy the beauty!:)

it is a shame not to see it for real. to get a chance and walk in it, or to play in it or make snowmen when the snow is right or to hear the crunching underfoot when you tread through it.
snowmobiles, toboggans, sleigh rides, snowboarding, ice fishing, outdoor skating, or just a nice walk around the block.
i love winter.

Okay, I just shoveled almost a foot of snow from the driveway. It's still pretty, and great for skiing and playing with, but I wish my driveway was a 'no falling snow' zone! <wincing at the pain in my back... wishing for a massage>

Next time I get the bright idea to chant for something like this, someone smack me! *G*

i took this pic of the tree at night. i only had the light of the streetlight to use.

I woke up this morning to find snow on the ground.....BRRRRR

LOL, but it is great to be out in. of course, it is also a great way to stay indoors and snuggle with someone, or by yourself with a blanket and a fire going in the fireplace while you read, or have some hot chocolate, or hot apple cider.

i see it all the time as well and it still fascinates me and i am 47 yrs of age. i just think that the snow makes things so much prettier to see and the air is fresh and i find that neighbors help out each other and strangers as well. it brings people together.
and it makes up for a legit excuse to cuddle up with someone.
hehehe

have a great weekend!

Thank you and your wife for the lovely portfolio of snow pictures!

Finally see snow (light snow/flurries) in the forecast for NYC for Thursday and Friday for the first week of the new year! Here's hoping we can get a little bit of the white stuff while the holidays are still fresh in our minds.

We still just have the same snow as the day I started this thread. None since! I kind of like it. Barely enough to cover my grass, not enough to be on the roads. It looks like winter, but I'm not buried! :)
