Smellof beer. Many of the aromas that may flag brewing problems are subtle or fleeting, depending on the brand it can smell sweetish or bitter depending

depending on the brand also depending on the person who catches a whiff I personally don't care much for beer so if I get a whiff of heavy beer breath I tend to be nauseated rather than able to determine the draft

Alcohol smells like window cleaning and cheap men's cologne.

Cheap whiskey smells harsh on the breath, very similar to the fumes from a cleaner with an amonia base and some cheap "clean" smell trying to cover it like pine. In general if the person has imbibed enough to really smell it it has mixed with stomach acid so you get a very harsh aroma the kind you smell more towards the back of your nose than att he front.

It's not for me, I kinda like it.

Probably because I like my lager so much.

Then again, if it is the following morning, and he still reeks of alcohol, it does make me feel a bit nauseous, but that's only because it's gone bad and stale. Give me fresh, boozy breath and I'm ok.

Oh, and I used to be a landlady in a pub, and got used to it pretty quick. Believe me, when you live and work with the constant smell of stale beer, a little alcohol on a man's breath can be quite an aphrodisiac.

Of course, that also depends upon the man.
