I was asked a week ago by my teacher what one of my biggest regrets in my life was so far. I chose to answer her bluntly....

" I regret being a youth during the P.C. (Politically Correct) generation. People can no longer speak their mind or enjoy freedom of speech or even be creative for the most part without some person weather it be male or female complaining about something that triggers them in some way and demanding it be taken down, removed or otherwise banished for whatever reason they feel like using "

Lastly I said...

"When something like Slut Shaming becomes a term not only actively used but semi accepted then that is a great example of how this world has gone mental and is beginning its steep downfall (among other things along with that ) "

So if a woman is raped and the defence lawyer cites that she was wearing a revealing outfit and had been drinking, then you're like 'fair enough, she deserved it' ?
Gotcha

The question should be asked of the woman on WHY she was wearing an outfit that would attract that kind of attention. Did the woman deserve to be raped...no...but she did NOTHING to stop it from happening by wearing an outfit that made her look like she was up for anything and even helped it to happen by wearing an outfit that advertised something she obviously didn't want someone answering the ad to. Woman have the right to be sexy....but when a woman goes all "Kardashian" and something like this happens then she has to take some of the blame for advertising her body in an outfit she knew would attract attention. Being sexy is ok...being a slut should be shamed.

This is really simple.

Women can and should be able to wear whatever the fuck they want and not be raped.

The end.

Is this a baiting thread?

(Leaving aside your comments that were a bit…..coming from a girl)

Uh huh, cause real students speak this way.

Not grown ass men who lean right.

So because I'm a woman I'm not allowed to go against the "narrative" and I'm not allowed to have my own point of view? lol. This is whats killing feminism. I'm proud to be a feminist but I don't agree with how some like to use feminism to do whatever the hell they want and then hide behind it when someone calls them out for doing something stupid like acting like a total slut. Being a slut is not feminism.

The people that think slut shaming is a bad thing are usually the sluts themselves. Defense mechanism in action. People who have a problem with "slut shaming" have a proplem with accountability in general.

I can't believe that people fell for this.
And seeing our most upstanding Lit. resident sir Des in his whiteknighteing role was a bonus haha.

Des saw her ad in Personals....

I'm very hesitant in making this post but I feel I should at the very least give this a shot. I'm a newly minted 18 year old mocha colored latina with naturally lightish green eyes, Dark hair and a very curvy latina body that is very athletically toned. I shamefully admit I'm very inexperienced do to a extremely sheltered and restrictive childhood.

I hopefully would like to find a older ( late 40s - early to mid 60s ) white male thats looking for someone like me. Someone to mentor and possibly love among other things. :(

np, Desi.

Say, did you know that the most dangerous contact sport in terms of injuries is girls soccer?

Slut shaming is bad. I couldn't care less who is sleeping with who as long as it doesn't directly impact me. Anyone should also be allowed to wear whatever they want, men and women.
If a girl wants to wear a fluffy rabbit costume to go shopping in then that's up to her.
If she wants to wear a micro mini skirt and a top that looks more like a handkerchief then that's fine too.

Concussions and acl injuries, actually.

But the nipple chafing works.
