slumber meets poker party?

I'm sure I'll never get to this, so if anyone is interested, please write it, I'll read it. Or, if you like bits, build your own version

Sue forgets it is Hubby, Bart's turn to host poker night. Daughter, Sally, 19, is returning from college, calls Sue and asks permission to invite her best gf's over same night for a slumber party. She also brings home Melody, her roomie, who no one else has met.

Well, its too late to cancel either. Bart meets Melody, gets instant hots. Bart's best buddy Ralph arrives for poker. Ralph has it bad for Sally. Other gals arrive, they retire to one wing of house, get into jammies, gossip, etc. Other guys arrive, lots of beer consumed. Maybe girls smoke up, maybe not.

Either Ralph meets Sally in kitchen, or Bart meets Melody. The see through nighty does its work. Or maybe Bart is way down, wagers sally's charms, with or without her consent. Where I get stuck is what Sue does, and if and how a full orgy breaks out ( if not, why the gaggle of giggles, then its just another 'poker night' tale ).

Nor will I.

But that's easy. The guys persuade the girls to stand behind them "to bring them luck". Then lucky winners kiss to say thank you, then "poker hands" become "wandering hands" then "poker".

Sorry, I couldn't resist the pun!

I think it would only really work if both sets of parties were consuming alcohol and/or other substances...and where's teh wife? I think it has a lot of problematic issues, none of which a talented writer couldn't work through.

let it die?
Write it, go on write it!
If you only write the easy ones, you'll never write anything you are really proud of.

Don't worry about the votes either. Some of the best written stories on here have low votes.

its not the difficulty, its finding the time.

how would you handle Mom- does she go out ( is that credible with a house full?); is she oblivious ( how?) or participant?

I think you have several options...her leaving the house isn't really credible, but if she's a ditzy or oblivious sort than I suppose it's option A.

Option B, you can use a ploy like a sleeping pill to keep her from hearing anything

Option C she ends up a willing participant

Option D is that she orchestrated it.

my premise was that the doublebooking was an error. Perhaps not?

Do you like that better than Mom is busy hostessing both groups, is also half drunk herself, comes upon sex in the kitchen, rather than screaming, joins in?

Do you like Bart (Dad) with Melody ( daughter's friend) or Ralph with Sally first?

Option E is that she doesn't live there any more.
That would help to explain dad's behaviour.

but amend the premise that it was Mom's error that scheduled both- why would daughter plan slumber party for poker night?

to tease, of course. daughter has a crush on daddy's friend Mike; Mike's a co-worker that recently joined the group. He's 28, handsome, and she's been thinkin' about him when she masturbates at night. She's gonna LOVE being around on poker night, with her noisey pillow-fights and giggles.

Option E Case 1 She forgot because poker nights rotated round the players' homes (or venue was changed unexpectedly).

Option E Case 2 She did it to annoy dad.

Option E Case 3 She did it on purpose to see what would happen (and it did).

Any of these three seem believable and you do lose the mom problem.
