slow response to authors tool board

I like a lot of the new features that you have put into the authors board, but for me it is frustrating at times. it takes a VERY long time for it to refresh as i go from page to page. For instance if i jump from page 2 of my works to page 3, it can take up to 30 seconds for it to re-read the data and refresh the page. I know it is doing something because the top bar moves across the page (twice typically). I presume it is reading from a database or something similar to compile the page data. It's just with the large number of stories i have (250+) it takes a very long time to accomplish it. I wouldn't mind so much if it just did it once when I change the indexing mode (date to title for instance) but it seems to require re-reading the data for every page change.
