I called the RNC HQ (that's "headquarters" in Barney Fife lingo) just this morning for today's tactics.

Sorry to interrupt. Ish, this reminded me. I saw a chart the other day that showed how much money all the various candidates had raised to date. Bush had raised the most, but he was the only Republican in the list. If you added all the Democrats together it would have been about 2-3 times (or more) -- math is not my thing -- than the President. I thought it would be an interesting counter to claims that the Republicans are the party of money, when I don't actually believe that to be true. Unfortunately, I'm posting while drunk tonight and having trouble corralling my typos, much less coherency. Have fun!

Kerry his daughter went shopping with several journalists plus a cameraman. He bought some books at Borders to prove he's an intellectual. Then, they went to a sporting goods store, where in front of the camera, he bougt a .... jockstrap. Insert mildly scatalogical joke here. I will refrain. But just think about what goes through a guy's mind who knows he's being watched by journalists and a cameraman and who goes ahead and buys a jockstrap. I guess this is the same sort of move as his using expletives in the Rolling Stone interview. I know that I have now thought about parts of the Senator's anatomy I would have preferred not to.
