Lithgow was over the top in that flick. I was partial to John Bigboote myself.

I remember this show. The intro was one of the worst special effects jobs in the history of television. It was so bad and campy I bought it on DVD. It's an even worse than I remember. Hollywood is truly scraping the bottom of the barrel with this one.

Nah. Once they make the film version of My Mother, The Car, then Hollywood will be scraping the bottom of the barrel.

Trivia: the creator of that show (Rod Amateau) went on to direct Garbage Pail Kids: The Movie.
