i've always wandered into this bullentin but never really registered or did anything about it till now. So I wanted to hi to everyone....and I think to also do some complaining.

I swear - my boss has to be some REALLY DOMINANT MAN at home. And I hope at least someone enjoys it. Because He is such a SLAVEDRIVER at work. I've never had a boss that works me half to death. It's 10 at night NY time....and i'm still at the office.....and i've been here since 8:30 this morning. <sigh>

I think bosses like these makes me really really Bratty when I get home.....

Believe it or not, those driven controlling, Type A types at the office are frequently subs in their off hours
pro-Dommes report that many of their clinets are those sort of guys, and they go to the Dommes to have a place to be able to "let go" and not have to be in charge

There is a huge difference between Dominant and domineering, selfish and unreasonable. Your boss sounds more like the latter of the two.

A Dominant... even a "slavedriver-type-Dominant", knows of the responsiblity behind owning (or in your case, employing) those slaves and adequately compensating them for their sacrifices and hard work. It can't all go one way... not at work, not in a Master/slave relationship and not anywhere else in life, no matter what the fantasy stories might have you think.

I hope you're at least getting a hell of a bonus, or a few extra weeks of vacation time or hell... even getting bent over the desk and fucked (erm... in a good way)... for the hours you've been putting in.

(And yeah, he probably does get it up the ass from his Mistress when he gets home... or not... and that explains his excessive demands on you.)

Or he's just a plain, everyday, common bully. Most of us will have worked with one at some stage in our lives. It's a nightmare. Just know that inside they are mostly scared little weaklings and they actually lead worse lives than the poor innocents who have to work for them. You can grow, educate yourself, get another job, whatever, but they are stuck with themselves forever.

Thanks guys....I finally did leave the office last night around 11:30 at night. It's a sad life. My life has slowly revolved around this desk and computer. I was back here this morning again at 8:30 for whoppie big meeting which wasnt' soo big.

I have secret evil thoughts that reallly reallllly hope he does have a very demanding, sadistical....and evil Mistress at home.

But on second thought...what if he likes it? <sigh> I can't win

Positive reinforcement... zing a rubber band his way when he's not looking..::sage nod..:: I hope you at least get paid well for working for what it sounds is an assclown.. I get paid horridly.. But it looks good on my college transcripts.. work in petstore= looks good to DVM program= good job own boss. Justa bout everyday I think some horrid thoughts about what his boyfriend must do to him.. well the days he makes us stay late just because "we think we can leave when the store closes even if our tasks aren't done." ... -.- ... Should just go back to shoveling shit... The horses never bitched..

Unfortunately...no i do not get paid well. I get paid horribly. A salary employee....I put in tons and tons of overtime hours - but guess what - I DONT get paid overtime. But like DarkLadyofDeath says - the job looks good. And at my age...it's a nice pretty prestige title. But it only looks good. There's no substance!

Find something else, there are jobs out there and no one should suffer a maniac. He should not be able to retain people and eventually his managment may see the problem pattern, you should get out.

He's my boss not my superior.. It sound like yours is far worse then mine is.. I can usually to tell him to go to hell if he's being a jerk and he knows it.. 'n shuts -up.. It's nice being needed... BUT.. This is a passing stone.. Spring and I'm out.. I wish you well on your path.

Seems like you have a guy with a domination complex, not a dominant. He is so insecure in himself that his only means to feel in control is to abuse those that make him money and successful. He is simply another fool with a title. I am a tuff boss, I admit it. When we ever take on an employee as salary it is based on a 45 hour week. If he is not giving you a bonus for excessive hours , then quit. Trust me, it might look good on a resume, but alot of good bosses will respect you more knowing you value yourself enough not to work for just anyone and to not take abuse like that . I have hired more people with a attitude than experience. Good luck in your search for a good job. They are few and far between. Just remember you are an asset and should be treated as such.
