Six Flags over Georgia

the saga continues as the Governor tries to push through a flag bearing all the flags that flew over Georgia including the present controversial one plus the official flag of the confederacy, the us flag, and several others. Appartently, he's promising the moon to any senator that goes along with the compromise. Passed the house last week. Senate votes tomorrow. Atlanta Journal poll shows 82% against.

My question is: Does a smaller version of the battle flag make it any less offensive to anti-flag group?

Yes, they (the civil rights groups) are praising this flag as a rational choice that everyone can live with. How long will they be satisfied? They said the same thing when SC moved their battle flag to a Confederate Memorial. That was a decision they could live with too. Now they are talking about another economic boycott of SC. It is only a matter of time before they return to the flag bashing, it is much easier to do that than work on actual issues that affect people.

How long til Stone Mountain is scrubbed clean?

The flag doesn't insult me, letting guys pimp 10 year old girls, and getting a misdemeanor-that insults me.

In something like this, I'm gonna have to agree with the general consensus. Size doesn't matter. OK, so maybe they weren't referring to this particular subject, but it still holds true. If someone find a certain object offensive, making it smaller won't get rid of it. Small or big, it's STILL going to be there for all to see. The ones who hate it are still going to hate it and petition for it to be removed. The ones who think it a part of history will petition to keep it. And those who dont care one way or the other will still be turning off the news just so they don't have to listen to the controversy.

I used to work at Gaslight on the Green at Six Flags over Georgia. It was fun, I got to ride the rides for free.

Anti-Flag is a music group and I don't know if they care about this or not.
