A reminder of the VERY confusing rules:

*I will post an initial picture, a string of pictures in the middle, and then a concluding picture. The first person has to use the initial picture, and one of the pictures in the middle string, and "connect" them when they appear in the same movie. The next person will take the second performer listed in the previous response, and select one of the remaining pictures in the middle string, and find a film those have in common. This continues until there is only one picture in the middle string, which then has to be "connected" to the end picture.
*There may be more than one correct way of navigating through the set of pictures. However, not every choice will let you get all the way through the list. If you think that is the case, and you find yourself stuck, you may back up as far back in the response list as you like and restart the list at that point.
*A person can now only post to a particular set once every 12 hours; that is, you may post again 12 hours after your last post on the same set. The clock also restarts with every new set of pictures.
*Only posts in the string that finally makes it to the end will count for points for those that posted on that set.
*The strings will get longer with each correct set of answers (up to a point).
*No film may be used more than once in a particular winning path.
*One last note, these are all film connections ... not television.

Note: This one has a theme. I'd rather everyone figure it out for themselves so instead of posting it on the thread I'll award bonus points to anyone to PM me what the theme is.

I'm curious to know if you've figured out the performers and are just working out the links or if you're stuck on any of the pics?

I'm missing 3 - the girl who may or may not be Uma. The girl who may or may not be Sarah Jessica Parker and the cowboy.

I'll help you out a little then. Whichever pics you're talking about...it's not Uma or Sarah Jessica.

I thought the cowboy might be hard. You've used him yourself in a previous set. (But I'm not saying which one! ;))

You guys are tough!

Just popping in to say hi ... I hopefully will be back soon. My original medical stuff that I had earlier mentioned not being cancer, that led the doctors to find a growth, which turned out to be benign, but still required "stuff" ... and that led to the discovery of another condition which has been what has been taking so long.

I will say, this being the movie thread, that my daughter and I were rather upset by the news of the passing of Leslie Nielsen. It was my introduction to her of one of the Naked Gun films when she was around 13 that led us to discover just exactly HOW similar our quirky sense of humor is and helped us get to the relationship we have today -- we got to bypass what looked like might have been a somewhat tense situation (my very lengthy divorce is nearly complete) by delving into all kinds of comedies of various media formats (how many dads introduce their teenage kids to Rocky Horror, huh). His passing on my mom's birthday is a rather sad note to me, but my memories of what his humor did for me are wonderful.

Good to see you Nor...*hugs* Isn't that the way it seems with health issues. They don't come in singles. And thank you for sharing how Leslie Nielsen played a role in you relationship with your daughter. I kind of figured you had a quirky sense of humor. ;)

I'm still lurking ladies...:kiss::rose:
I've just been busy. I'm going to be starting some courses next week and will be busier than normal, so I'm kind of weening myself from Lit as I won't have time for it so much.

Good to see you, dude. Glad to see that you're on the mend. And speaking of Leslie and you being on the mend....

"A hospital? What is it?"
"It's a big building with patients, but that's not important right now."

Nor, Good to see you popping in. I'm glad your health issues are being resolved and we're all looking forward to your return. I just hope that we're making you proud trying to fill your shoes as gamemaster. :)

Maggie, What will you be studying? Good luck with your classes, but know you'll definitely be missed around here! :rose:

Congrats to Brad who was the first to figure out the theme. Anybody else wanna take a stab at it? Just PM me your guess.

It's okay. You are not the only one having a little trouble. Which ones are hanging you up?

Also, you don't need to figure it all out to get the theme; you may see a pattern in the string as it stands already. Plus, if you guess the theme, it will make the rest of the links a bit easier to figure out. :)
