Six degrees thread ... rebooted

I'm off for a bit. I'll check in later and see if we're ready for the next set. :)

And now I can go to bed

Rose Byrne was in Get Him to the Greek with Russell Brand
Russell Brand was in Penelope with Christina Ricci
Christina Ricci was in The Addams Family with Raul Julia
Raul Julia was in Presumed Innocent with Brian Dennehy
Brian Dennehy was in Tommy Boy with Bo Derek
Bo Derek was in 10 with Dudley Moore
Dudley Moore was in Arthur with Sir John Gielgud
Sir John Gielgud was in Gandhi with Candice Bergen
Candice Bergen was in Miss Congeniality with Benjamin Bratt
Benjamin Bratt was in Traffic with Benicio Del Toro
Benicio Del Toro was in Sin City with Jessica Alba
Jessica Alba was in Fantastic Four with Ioan Gruffudd

Good job everyone. That went quick! :)

I'll post the next one and leave the scoring on that round to Brad. :rose:

A reminder of the VERY confusing rules:

*I will post an initial picture, a string of pictures in the middle, and then a concluding picture. The first person has to use the initial picture, and one of the pictures in the middle string, and "connect" them when they appear in the same movie. The next person will take the second performer listed in the previous response, and select one of the remaining pictures in the middle string, and find a film those have in common. This continues until there is only one picture in the middle string, which then has to be "connected" to the end picture.
*There may be more than one correct way of navigating through the set of pictures. However, not every choice will let you get all the way through the list. If you think that is the case, and you find yourself stuck, you may back up as far back in the response list as you like and restart the list at that point.
*A person can only post to a particular set once every 12 hours; that is, you may post again 12 hours after your last post on the same set. The clock also restarts with every new set of pictures.
*Only posts in the string that finally makes it to the end will count for points for those that posted on that set.
*The strings will get longer with each correct set of answers (up to a point).
*One last note, these are all film connections ... not television.

Still missing a few but gonna jump here ...

Joe Mantegna was in Mother Ghost with Dana Delany

I have no idea if this is right, because I know Joe Mantegna can link with others, but I will extend the current thread ... there are still too many I don't know yet.

Let's try:

Joe Mantegna was in Mother Ghost with Dana Delany
Dana Delany was in The Right Temptation with Rebecca De Mornay

I have made negative progress ... I have identified no new people, and can't find a picture to confirm 2 of the 7 I think I know.

Sorry, all. I think this one got lost in translation. (And no, I'm not using that movie in this set.;)) I'm going to try to manipulate my image and see if I can't get better clarity.

*fingers crossed*

That is MUCH clearer. And it definitely helped me with one picture. Not with the other 8, however. :)

I hate when there are 6 people there you know you should know, but can't quite place them.

Happens to me all the time. (Heck, if I were working this set, Dana Delany would have been one of those for me. :()

So which pictures are people stuck on?

For one, the picture I have decided to call "Peter Pan" does not ring even the most slightly tinkling bell.

That's funny. "Peter" was in two of the films you used in your Harry Potter set. Since there were 34 films in that set, I don't think that's too much of a clue. :)

You aren't talking about Trelawney, are you?

Two of the films in MY list?

And I FINALLY found a picture of one of the people, and it is who I knew it was.

This is a LONG a tedious game ... I demand to know who is responsible for this!

Yes, two of the films in your list. And no, I'm not talking about Professor Trelawney. She was in many, many, many of the films in that set.

..... But now that I'm thinking about it, she was probably in both of those films, too.

The guy to the right of Joe M. The gal in the white shirt.. the last gal and the guy in the uniform to the right of Emma.

Well I think the key here might be the girl in the white shirt. She's been in a television series based on one teen book series and in a movie+sequel based on another teen book series.

Also, the man in uniform is the only one that does not have a picture in imdb. That may not be much of a clue, but one might logically think that a man who appears in uniform in a picture might be found appearing in films with a military connection.

For now, I'll see if those get you started and maybe you'll discover the others on your own.
