I know! So many threads about married people looking for something on the side ...
Right?! Nice to know there are folks on Lit who might be looking for something up the middle.

...Or any physical sport where precision is necessary to score.Up the middle is always best. You are talking about bowling?!
Oh, I'm procrastinating today, but I have an event to attend this evening. So I'm working on gathering the motivation I need to doll myself up and go pretend to be social!
How are you?
...Or any physical sport where precision is necessary to score.
My attempt is: say hello to people, if they say hello back ... it’s a success. If not, *shrugs* oh well. A smile and a wave, it all helps.
Procrastination: I tried that. What do you do when you procrastinate?
Well, that does sound doable. I might pull off this sociable thing yet!
You mean, what do I do other than lurk around here when I procrastinate? Hmm. Scroll through Instagram. Read my Twitter feed. Give up on humanity. Resort to porn stories. Take reassurance (and sometimes intense pleasure) in the fact that there are many people out there who are just as kinky as I am...some who are far more so, even. Rinse and repeat.
Oh. And Netflix. I Netflix and chill by myself...a lot.
does divorced equal single?

I think so
I think so
Similar thoughts have been running in my head lately as that is my situation. Seems like when the issue of someone's status comes up, there are separate labels for "single" and "divorced."
Maybe it's my own neurotic bias, but it seems like noting specifically that one is divorced is a code for "there's extra baggage." That might not necessarily be the case, at least not any more than any other standard single person. Same for a widow/widower, I suppose.
Hopefully the event tonight turns out better than you think, though I have the same issues at time heading somewhere to be social.
Doing alright today. Just seeing what the rest of the day will bring.
Reading my Twitter feed has the same effect on me! So much negative stuff in the world. That’s when I switch off and try to engage the writing brain. Some days it works and something half decent comes out. Some times, something pretty good comes out.
Netflix is great escapism. I would Netflix and chill, but the fridge is too small.
It was actually a really nice evening. And I'm heading out soon to attend a seminar this morning, so I feel like I am being inordinately social.
How was the rest of your day?
I know what you mean with the writing. These days, I'm lucky if anything comes at all. (Well, word-wise, that is...)
The fit may be tight, but it's worth it. Closer to the freezer that way. Netflix & Ice Cream. Mmmm.
No wonder I'm single.![]()

47 Female, Denver CO Single (brief marriage so short and so long ago I don't count it) no kids
Definitely on the submissive side and just recently started re-awakening sexually after many years. Ideally looking for a good fit with a partner but a good connection right now would work as well.
Depends on which ice cream you have in mind. Some times, a tight fit is good.
What’s on your Netflix list?
If you’d like some inspiration for writing, just let me know![]()
