I've been thinking about this recently for some reason, maybe because I've been getting infrequent suggestions from relations that it's time I settled down. Anyway, I've been single for pretty much my whole life (I'm 36). I had a girlfriend briefly like 10 years ago, but nothing since. Funny though, I've no desire for any kind of relationship. I've never had sex frequently and it's been months since the last time. That was with a pro, and I can't even remember the time before that. I guess I'm not looking for validation or anything, but this is the internet so I thought I'd trwo this up there. What do you think? Am I missing something?

I think everybody has there own needs, wants, and desires. If you are happy with your life don't let people talk you into doing something that could very well make you miserable.

I guess by pro you likely mean someone who indulges in some sex for money.

On the other hand if you mean someone who is really good at sex and really likes it, well then hell boy, I have ta tell ya there ain't that many who are in that league. There are of course many who like to BELIEVE they are...

There is a vast distinction between ANY OLD kind of sex and quality sex.

And I'm not personally so sure that there is any real need to have sex in such great quantity, if it doesn't contain something of some real QUALITY in it. Certainly, the older and 'wiser' you get, you may find that quality counts a LOT MORE than quantity. Caring or at least worrying about what others think is pointless in reality, because 'others' mostly all fall into the 'pretty damn boring and useless in the bedroom' category (well, for me they do, at least).

I think you nailed something there, I wonder if most people believe that others are having more and better sex than they are.

I can only assume that you are freakishly ugly and that you undervalue yourself because of your hideous appearance. Can I recommend that you travel to Mexico and take advantage of some low cost plastic surgery? They can't guarantee you won't die of cancer within a few hours, but you will look good in your coffin and that says something.

Since this is the internet, I thought you should get some advise of the kind one who frequents the General Board should expect to receive.
