But this whole thing is too bizarre because (I said it before and I"ll say it again) this isn't real life!! Save your energy for dealing with the people in your real life. When push comes to shove, it really doesn't matter what any of us thinks about one another.

I stopped reading the thread after I got to this part of your post. It tells a great deal about you, based on my experience here. People who use the excuse that Lit isn't "real life" are often the ones who are lying, or playing a "part" of some kind. They don't see anything wrong with it because this place isn't "real" to them.

It DOES matter what we think of one another, IMHO. Lit is a community, and people in the community have opinions of who they trust, who they don't trust, who they like, who they don't like, etc.

Ok, I'm not even going to argue with any of you, even though I have so much I'd like to say. I am now in the state of mind to walk away from this. I am going to find a way to co-exist with all of you, and whether you decide to co-exist with me or not is up to you. I'm astonished that I can put this aside and live peacefully with a crowd of you, but that same crowd can't put it aside and learn to live with me, one single person. Like I said, I'm not arguing with you anymore, and I'm not going anywhere. I won't bother you, and I expect the same consideration from you all.

NnN: I've read your posts ( a lot of them, because with your daily average it's like watching a soap opera for 5 hours). I read the Goodbye thread, I read this one, and some others.
Here's this one:

* you started it saying you wanted responses to your name change, and you might leave?
(first indication NnN was/is you)

* you said this forum isn't real
(pray tell, how do you see this forum? Should propriety be suspended since you don't actually SEE the person you are talking to? Do you believe the people on the other end aren't real? Or are you saying this is such an insignificant spec of interaction that it doesn't matter in what manner you behave?)

* you have changed your name, you were discovered, you denied it, then you tried to take credit for admitting it?
(why would you think people would see this in a favorable light?)

* you say you should only be judged for what you did during the last week?
(people have long term memories for a reason - if you get burned as a kid touching a hot iron, you don't do it weekly to reasure yourself of the fact)

* you insist you appologized
(you begrudged an appology, I felt it was insincere - obviously others did too judging from their responses - and you continued like a little child, petulantly stamping your foot, saying "but I appologized, but I'm a new person, but you weren't nice to me, but I was on meds, but so-and-so treated me badly, but this is the real me" - we don't believe you. It is our right, and it would be absurd otherwise.)

But you know all this.

I don't believe your lies.

My own feeling: you are still the same person, nothing has changed, you are an ATTENTION STARVED DRAMA QUEEN and each of your threads proves it. You will continue to start troll baiting threads like this one, and new people will continue to attack/defend you, but I will not be one of them. Yes, I have the will to hit the ignore button. Goodbye.
