Significant dips?

Not that scores count... but how can a score of 4.64 suddenly dip to 4.50 seemingly with the addition of only one further vote?

I'm not totally sure how the scores work. I understand the 'H' principal, but how does the overall total add up?

Oh, and 'Fuckin' Trolls'... yaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrgh! There, I feel a bit better now.

on this one it's 26, with something around 6680 views. much lower overall than usual, but i suppose that BDSM doesn't get as many viewers as some other categories? it started off reasonably well, feedback from my circle of trusted sounding boards was positive, but then suddenly it dipped.

one or two older pieces have taken a tumble too. that's what makes me think that Trolly has focussed attention upon me. yep, it happens and it doesn't make me boil as it once did... much.

117 - 116 = 1

strange, but in the interim 2 votes have disappeared and the score has bounced up again...

BTW, maths isn't my thing... You could argue that English isn't either LOL. I gotta figure out how those scores work.

Ha! When we were married, after you had posted a new story you'd be up five times during the night to "check scores . . ." If you liked the results, you'd come back and sleep the sleep of the just for a couple hours. If not, you'd lie there sleepless, entertaining revenge fantasies about trolls, and get up an hour later to check again.
