Signature Lines (Yet again)

I notice that a lot of you have changed your signature lines as of late. I get a good laugh out of some of them too.

Roll One, your kills me it's fantastic, Well done.

I had one once but my mood changes too much, the person I put it on there for hardly comes here anymore and I thought it was too long.

I was just wondering what some of them mean to the person that wrote them, and why some of you feel the need to change them? Do you chnage them due to boredom or just mood?

Then we have Never and Siren that do their's as they go along. Which lets face it say more than thier posts sometimes (LOL).

I've never used the signature line. Too lazy, I guess. But I do enjoy reading the rest of them- Siren, in particular always cracks me up. Her "Hey Ladieee" immitation of Jerry Lewis really did almost kill me- taco chips should be swallowed, not inhaled while you're laughing.

I used to not use one for the longest time. My reasons were the same as Nicole's, my mood changed too often.

The one I use now was developed with the help of a dear friend (*HUGS*). What cemented my decision was the wav file he sent, reading it to me in his delicious accent. I still get tingly thinking about it.

I put one in the blank when I registered only to find someone else was using it. Backed up and used one that I find myself saying IRL. I just changed it due to my mood (an eensy bit on the edgy side). Hey KillerMuffin, is it my turn to be the evil twin yet? LOL

That just sums up the way I feel about several things,,,

War and peace,,, being a hippie from days gone by, this was a favorite slogan of mine at the campus where I did some college in 1971 - 1975 while the Vietnam war was still a daily nightmare,,,

And arms, well actually the hands attached, should not be used for violence,,, espically slapping or hitting with a fist. I was guilty once in college of the fist thing and paid the price with jail time,,, and I absolutely despair at seeing anyone slapped,,,

So, in my mellow older years, I thought that this signature summed me up quite nicely in the fewest words ^^shrug^^

I think so EarthMuffin. Yep, its your week, I did it last week, so it must be your week. *sigh* I guess I have to be nice to people now. I can do that.

I've only changed mine once, at my 1000 something post when I took my old signature and made it my title. I don't think this signature line suits me at all. I should change it to EarthMuffin's evil twin muffin. Or NO you can't cream in my muffin. Nah, too lazy. I doubt I'll ever change it. It just seems to do weird things for my posts.

Sometimes I see someone's signature and it cracks me up, then I look at mine and think, "Bor-ing." Or sometimes I get inspired by someone else's and try to improve my own.
And sometimes I realize that my signature isn't "me" anymore. It was a few weeks ago, but now...? <shrugs>

I usually pick something that cracks me up and then when I stop laughing everytime I read it, go looking for another. Signature lines are the spice of Lit life!

when i picked mine i saw all these totally cool people that had been here for soooo long, i didn't want to be the little squeekpip that tried too hard to be cool, i wanted to really be cool,... (which is why i'm looking at what my title will be when i hit 1000, i want it to be good,...) so i thought and thought,... and mine is something i say in RL and it goes with every post i think i'll write. it tempers my bitchy soapbox rants, it reaffirms my huggy warm fuzzy posts, it works for everything,... very versatile,... and gives me perspective every time i read a post i wrote.

My title is a combination of French, Latin, and Hebrew - it's sort of a nonsense phrase that means something. Sort of like that word in Mary Poppins, it's the thing I know when there's nothing else to know.

Mine's very dull and uninventive, but damn if I can come up with another....I'll put my people to work on it!

I just like mine, it reminds me on a daily basis that life happens the way it does and there is not much I can do about it.
It has actually helped alot in the past year about dealing with my sons father, as well as handling some of the medical problems that are facing my son. "Such is life" and I am able put things in prospective, face what I have to face, and realize that everything will work out all right in the end.
