Can someone help me put a picture in my signature? I've proven technically illiterate again.

The Earl

You should just have to use the tags since I believe they disabled all html. Put the address of your picture inside the tags and don't forget to close the end one.

the image tags work if you're hotlinking something :)

If you're wanting to add a pic you've got on your harddrive..i dunno how you do that.

however if you want to upload a pic and get a link for it use my hubby's free hosting

pics.justhosted.co.uk

and it'll give you a www.yourpic.justhosted.co.uk address that you can place in between

[ IMG] [ /IMG ]

(without the spaces)

did that make sense?

The url in my sig has got the [ url] [/ url] around it. It's just not showing hte picture.

Cause you need the tags around it for it to show as a pic, not the [url] tags.

Now why the hell didn't that work when I tried it! Thanks Harold.

Because I took the question mark off the end of the URL.

The IMG tags are a bit finicky about URLs with Qustion marks, Exclamation points, and other extraneous characters in them.
