Is anybody getting random messages? Who is sending these random messages? Do we all play and send messages to random subscribers? Have you sent any?

I can't quote Ben because I have no idea how far back his message is.

Ben said he never gets them. Must only be for the popular people.

Anyone I have ever messaged on here, said something I could use to message them with.
Again. I'm not sure what your original messages were. I don't look all the time.

They offered up more than "I'll take one", "HMU", "I'm waiting", "Send me one"

I 100% ignore those. If you aren't willing to say more than that. I have nothing to start a conversation with.
"So. I'm HYU, What's up?" is not the kind of conversation I look for.

Who says you can't come in here and respond to others you see posting.
You can totally leave your own hope for a message, but also message anyone you see that is interesting.

This thread totally can work. If people offer up more than the most basic/simple answer.

It truly doesn't take much to say Something like. "Sitting here watching the Chucky Marathon. tell me your favorite one"
(cause I watched them all last night. It was in my head)

That is a conversation starter. Simple. One sentence.


The last friend I made was from this thread, and I responded because he gave me something to go off.

Curiosity got the best of me when I saw you posted, I've had some incredibly random messages from some incredibly random people sometimes, then other times I've been completely ignored, it's swings and roundabouts sometimes, or timezones and taglines maybe.

But you also interact a lot in the Playground. So there is a ton of info people can grab onto, to send you messages.
One of my best friends is in the UK and we actually talk more than a lot of my local friends. Sometimes the time zones aren't horrible.

I’ve sent several random messages out. I’ll find the most random facts that will somehow tie into one of the threads and use that to start a conversation.

Now ask me how many guys continue the conversation? I do think some, most, guys come on here hoping a very specific woman will see their message and respond. So at this point I rarely send them anymore.

This can be very true also.

When I see "No one wants to talk to me" but I've tried multiple times. I know that means "The person I wanted to talk to me, hasn't"

The best advice women have given men, that some rarely ever take is, Get out there and mingle. Let the ladies see what kind of person you are. Women often reach out more when they think they have something in common with that guy. If you don't want to get out and mingle, at least offer up some info about yourself.

If you mention things I like. I am more likely to reach out.

But Random messages, don't have to equal hook ups.
