Was hoping that someone could help me out in explaining how to create fancy writing on your sig line. i've tried everything and can't figure it out. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It looks good so far. Keep it that way! Anything more than a few lines is useless.

Looks like you've already discovered color and size and bold - you also have options of changing the font and italicizing or underline. What kind of fancy writing do you mean?

I'm talking using Script, and the sparkling color to fill. I don't have those options on here, and I see that others have created ones like that.

Any suggestions??

They've likely used either programs like PaintShop Pro to create images that can be loaded and hotlinked from a site like Photobucket, or an online generator like GlitterMaker:

HTML and other languages have been disabled here because of the potential for abuse.

Is that what you were looking for?

Here is a link to the vb code list. most of it warks in the signature line.

SweetErika, I tried the link from your post for Glittermaker but it doesn't work. Can you try posting it again? Sounds interesting.

More help with signature lines

I added a graphic to my signature line today and after much swearing and hassle, finally got it to work....or so I thought. For some reason, it's not showing up again. But when I go back and check/preview my signature line, it's there. What is causing this?

Under that sites terms of use they do not allow hotlinking, you would be better off saving it somewhere like photobucket or any other file storage site and link to it from there.
Also don't forget to close your tags eg: [/IMG] :)
Terms of use.

Take the periods out at the [.img] and [./img] thing and it should work.

Well, that's just it....as I said above and as you can see here, there are no periods in mine so that really puzzles me.

Maybe, just maybe

I think maybe I finally got it to work properly...until it disappears on me again or something else goes wrong that I have to fix. I ended up using a site that I had bookmarked a few months ago and completely forgot about: http://www.imageshack.us/transload.php It does everything for you and it's free...gotta love that!

By the way, have I mentioned how much I truly hate this VB code? HTML is sooooooo much easier to work with.
