Shy Bi/Bi Curious Guy

Hi all,

I've been viewing a lot of posts on this forum for a while and finally decided to post myself. I'm a bi/bicurious male...mid 20s... living in the tri-state (NYS, NJ, CT) area. I've been struggling with my bi feelings and curiousness for a while. Seeing the posts on here only adds to that...lol. My dilemma is that all my friends are straight, and I don't know any bi ppl personally. I'm too shy to go to a club on my own, and I'm not out to friends or family. I'd like to "take steps" on exploring, but don't know how. Would love to chat/ read your posts with advice. thx

Those of us that are "new" to our bisexuality all find ourselves in the same - or similar boat. While I'm not in your area (more north of you), please feel free to pm me and we can chat about all of this. Sometimes just finding friends that think the same can be that first step. You may wish to try something like Craigslist (though that's basically a classified ad, with the positives and negatives of that) or a dating site that allows 'men seeking men' posts and just state that you're bicurious and looking for something casual. You'll probably get a lot of different types of responses, so if you're looking for another bi-curious guy you may want to specify that. Other people here with far more experience than I will be able to tell you more - , for whatever it's worth, I've had encounters with a guy I met here and another I met on a dating site (the former was much more enjoyable).

I too am in your situation living in va is no easier anyone who wishes to talk about this please pm me
