Lev Parnas has been told (probably more reliably than a Trump 'many people are saying' story) that there was AI monitoring the audience. There has to be a better reason for flying all those senior officers around the world than just a lecture on shaving standards.

Trump is using AI to assess the reactions of everyone in attendance, to decide who will obey an illegal order and who will do a 'Mike Pence'. There will be a purge of those deemed unreliable and only the shiny-eyed cultists will be permitted to command units when the order comes to overturn the Constitution.

There may of course be the Stalin Option of purging the entire officer class and starting again with party faithful but Trump has studied the history of 1930's Europe and he will be aware of the consequences.

Discounting the rabid take on illegals orders, that's not a bad idea. Our glag ranks are NOT war fighters. Those 2, 3, and 4 stars. have not ever, over years, ever uttered a controversial or contentious sentence. About anything. Now think about why that might be. Done thinking?

It's because in the course of a 20 year career, during which one's path to the stars is set, one can never annoy even one boss. You cannot disagree with even one boss or you will get that substandard OER that will push you off the path to stars. You cannot agree with a controversial statement in public or you will very likely get the same treatment.

Now what kind of man or woman can avoid doing that? Can avoid doing that in a business where every decision, no matter how seemingly trivial, is, ultimately, a matter of life and death for soldiers, sailors, airmen, and marines...and the nation?

It is a man or woman who has no moral center of their own, who cares about advancement entirely, and nothing else. So all of those men and women sitting there, blank-faced? (Barring the very few who slip through the cracks.) They are all moral cyphers. They sold whatever integrity they had for advancement. And we would be better off if they were ALL shown the door.

If AI can figure which pnes are the useless fat bastards who are incapable of warfighting, all to the good.
