No. at this point this is nothing to do with Trump. It's pure internal Dem politics. AOC is after Schumer's Senate seat and if Schumer just goes along with the continuing resolution, as is standard practice more or less, AOC and her group are going to hang him out to dry over it guven NYC politics. So he's doing this purely in an attempt to fight off AOC and hold on to his voters, which, given he's a Jew in NYC, and we know NYC is going islamofascist with Mamdani, Schumer is fucked anyhow, so as Lovecraft said, all a bit pointless. AOC will make her move on his Senate seat regardless.

So it's absolutely nothing to do with Trump.

But you can bet Trump will be taking advantage of this and in the end, enough Dems will cave that the funding will pass as it is - an Schumer will look like a loser because his Dem support in the Senate will crack.

And most GOP voters would really prefer the govt to shut down anyhow, so Schumer hasn't exactly got the GOP over a barrel here. There might be some RINO's who want to make stupid concessions of some sort, but Johnson seems to have a good hold on the House. America will be a winner from this shutdown, that's for sure.

Why would he? This gives him the perfect opportunity to clean out the Augean Stables and downsize the Feds. Ruthlessly. And fuckover Democrats big time and get them out of those government sinecures where they have been backstabbing the Administration and subverting policy. This is a golden opportunity and Schumer has presented it on a golden platter

I just hope that
(1) the Dem's DON'T do the chickenshit Dem thing and back down
(2) the RINO's don't fuck it up - bute hiopefully enough have been made examples of that they won't
(3) Trump has the actuall balls to give Vought free rein
