This is definitely a picture that makes me want to kiss you more than anything.

Decay can be.. not always.. but sometimes, it reaches something almost magical, standing inside an old and abandoned industrial building, looking up.. Through the wooden roof construction, through the holes in the roof... The light, almost cinematic, no need for a smoke machine - the dust, trapped in time inside this decaying structure, gives all the feels you need.

There have been some amazing images from expeditions inside old hospitals and cold war installations... I love the way nature reclaims the space without fear or favour.... And, of course, from the abandoned city of Pripyat.

just read Islands Of Abandonment by Cal Flyn about abandoned places and nature reclaiming from man made ones to natural disasters and the aftermath... fascinating read.

Yes!

I love those places!!! How the nature relentlessly keeps moving forward, never stopping but working with time, tirelessly and ubarmhjertigt they tell us, that we are but a speck of dust in time, they will be there when we are gone.
