ETA: I miss the previous option to have an attachment to a post without having it show up in the body of the post itself.
EATA: However, since I didn't choose the "insert" option, it would appear that, at least, it won't be clickable from reposts *and* there's no share button on it.

If you post a picture with a link from Imgur, anyone can see and share it even if they aren't logged in. If you post a picture as an attachment, that's not the case. When I logged out, anyone who posted a picture as an attachment just showed up as a blank picture box.

If you add it as a url then it doesn’t show.
Use the link icon in the grey panel at the top ogle the edit box and place the link in the dialog box that appears add the text you want clickable to the second box. East as pie.
Here’s an example - excuse the rough look I just got up
I prefer Imgur because I can curate it separately from lit.
