I often wonder just how much better the world would be if everyone just did one extra small act of kindness. It doesn't even have to be much, just a smile, a little word of encouragement, holding a door open, letting some merge ahead of you in heavy traffic, or even just a simple good morning/afternoon/evening.

It is the simple things in life that improve things. Showing an act of kindness to one person has a good chance of that person showing one to another and it continues to roll. I have a thread that talks about this quite a bit.
