Once...it did make a difference. I remember LOOK Magazine (or maybe it was Life?) publishing the My Lai pictures....it changed the course of the war. I don't know what has happened that resulted in Republicans not caring...but it has happened.

It was Life magazine and the New York Times who published the naked picture of Kim Phúc a Vietnamese girl fleeing a napalm strike that set her clothes afire...and people called the photo of her unclothed body 'porn'. The photo won the Pulitizer prize for photography in 1973,

She's now a citizen of Canada with a husband and two kids.

Oh and Facebook routinely deletes her picture as "porn" to this day.
