DNA wise they're Israelites and Canaanites. They are the indigenous people of the land, the ones who never left. They did not move in after the Romans expelled the Jews. They did not move in after the Islamic conquest. They have simply always been there.

Not my Palestinian friends , there dna comes back Egyptian, Jordanian or Coptic Christian.
