Should men shave their pubes bald?

My GF shaves her pubic area bald and wants me to do the same. I know some guys do but most don't. I just need opinions and experiences others have.

I prefer closely trimmed. All my body hair is now the same length. If I shave my pubic area, it looks a little weird to me with hair on my chest and stomach. I do shave my balls and that seems to almost be a separate entity.
If someone is relatively hairless on the body, or willing to shave it all, it probably would be pretty erotic.
If my wife wanted to have me do it though, it would be shaved.

My wife didn’t like it when I tried it. She thought one I looked like a kid. I liked the way it felt, but not the way it looked. I now completely tweeze the hair down below, and I keep the upper part trimmed. If feels great and my wife is fine with it.

To clarify: all of the hair is gone below about a half inch above the base of my cock. The hair above is trimmed short.

Also, the wife hated stubble so you need to get an idea of how often you would shave if shaving is the way for you. Depends on hair thickness and growth rate. That’s where waxing has a big benefit.

*People* should make their own fucking minds up about what they like. If partners want to influence that, they should have a conversation. If it's that big a deal-breaker somebody needs to move on.

I keep mine smooth, my wife likes a full bush. We're both happy. I wouldn't dream of requiring her to go smooth because I know she'd hate it, and she similarly accommodates my preference.

I wrote in another thread that I had always kept a trimmed bush, smooth shaft, shaved balls and ass in and out. I got adventurous a few weeks back and shaved EVERYTHING. I wasn't really thrilled with the look. It had been maybe 10-12 years back that I tried the bare look and I only did it for a few weeks.

I don't mind the look today, but am thinking I might let it grow in to a quarter inch long and give getting waxed a try. Both shaving as well as the dilatory creams work, but I get the nubs withing two days. People tell me that waxing lasts longer.

I am open to suggestions from the experts here on Lit... shave, creme, or wax?
