It could be true - I remember breastfeeding my kids in the early days after birth and feeling my uterus contracting rather painfully sometimes. Nipple stimulation releases oxytocin (sp?) which is what they give you to bring on labour or increase contractions during childbirth.

it is possible that it is true, nipple stimulation causes uterine contractions as bandit said, while breastfeeding it is the bodies way of shrinking the uterus back to it's normal size.
