My boyfriend is only perhaps a centimetre or two taller than me, and I'm not that tall. The people I tend to be attracted to are of either medium or short-ish height. Somehow they're a bit cuter, I'm more comfortable around them. I'm a fan.

What I find interesting is how many people seem to have an opinion that extends to cyber playmates. Shouldn't witty banter matter more when the person will likely never stand next to you? And fwiw, I'm five foot three and don't wear heels. While I love tall,anything taller than me is fair game.

I am 5'6" and married a girl that has 4 inches on me. Sure there are some issues, mostly logistical -like dancing, but nothing a good pair of lifts couldn't fix. The issues belong mostly to everybody else.

We were a little awkward about it at first, but 23 years later and we are still going strong.

To say the least. I knew there was a prejudice against short guys but DAMN Lit! Literally EVERY other body type gets incredible love here.

I'd say it might be part of a gendered predjudice, where a woman is expected to be physically diminutive compared to the man, but that would contradict all the many men of slight build with extreme admiration of BBWs. I don't get it either. Tall men aren't unattractive for their height but short men are so much more cuddle-able I find. And even if they can't help it, I don't like feeling like someone is standing over me and looking down. I want to look my partner in the eyes and not get a crook in my neck.

I'm one of those "Walking Short" Guys at 5'5" I am shorter than my two younger brothers , my sister, mother and father ...Grandfather ect.


Oh, there are times it would be nice to be taller. Lots of females chase Tall dark & handsome, but I don't never noticed that much.

A tall man can come in a short package.

Yeah. Being hung a little more than average does help if the relationship gets that for.

On the other hand...I've been married four times and have had sex with well over seventy five women so I can't really claim a disadvantage...

That is a-MAZING to hear...or read. Lol. Sentiments like that really do help when you run into as many "must be this tall to ride" rejections I've gotten lately. Though now that I see you're from Australia, I'll go back and read it again in an accent. Lol

That's a great height! You don't have to tower. Like previous commenter said a crick in the neck isn't as much fun as one might think. And not having to always sit down to kiss is a little bonus. There's something to love about both types of guys
