Shopping Spree

I remember the old I Love Lucy show, where it seemed the best way to fight the blues was with a shopping spree. Well, damnit, I treated myself tonight. I bought the new Coldplay CD, A Rush of Blood to the Head, a Robert Johnson collection, a very large Snickers bar, a copy of Howl and Other Poems by the late, great Allen Ginsberg (yeah, I'm in a Ginsberg frame of mind--Beat), and a fifth [aka 750ml] of Absolut Citron. Has anybody else treated themselves in a while?


btw, the Snickers bar is gone, and the Absolut had a big dent in it. On the other hand, vita brevis, ars longa

This has been my week for shopping I think. Since there isn't really anyplace to shop locally, I did mine online. I ordered things for the house and a new toy for myself.
