had it twice, both times on my upper left arm on the outside. only a few spots, less than twelve, i'd say, but the pain! my whole arm hurt and felt like it weighed a ton

It's only the size of a quarter, by my mouth. I've been putting cold compresses on it to help, wet cotton rounds that I throw away.

I know several people who had it! At least you don't have it on your eye. that would be worse.
Did you have shingrax? That's the latest shot they have which they recommend sometime on or about 55. Two separate shots, but I am told that that is a lot better compared to what they had in the past. with almost a 99% effectiveness.
I hope that it goes away quickly and with as little as pain.
