I bought new rope today just for this. Although....having experimented with it one weekend, I don't think I have any clothing that will hide it where the rope goes around my neck and down my cleavage. I just can't wear it to work if it's visible. The point for me is to wear something that will make me feel sexy (I love, love, love rope!), keep me excited and my thoughts on my Master all day, and getting a glimpse of it against my skin when I used the bathroom (have I mentioned that I love rope?). But any clients or coworkers seeing it would just be too unprofessional. And it seems like the only thing that would work is a turtleneck. Has anyone tried this? Is there a way to keep it hidden?

lol I just went and picked up some rope today to try this too XD although not in public. I was going to surprise the boy with pictures.

*muse* maybe there's a way to tie it where it won't go to the neck line? Like, maybe you could loop it around your arms (kind of like a tank top), or make it nice and snug across your chest instead? I don't know, but you could probably experiment and figure something out. That might be more fun anyway

Rather than starting with the tie pattern and finding cloths why not start with cloths that would cover areas and then find a pattern that will work. Though it might be hard to top this one.

How does one make sure something like a clit-knot ends up in the right place. I thought I had tied one in the right spot, but it ended up getting pulled back as I worked the rope. Does one simply have to guess and then adjust as necessary?

I am going to experiment this weekend...a four day weekend! I am really inept when it comes to tying and binding...I need explicit step by step instructions. But I'm going to play with it.

The other approach is to tie the binding on top of the clothes you are planning to wear. This is done all of time at demo sessions and you get an idea for how much give you get from the garment vs how much your harness will allow.

Generally cable knit sweaters provide enough bulk to conceal windings and knots. Dressing in layers also helps to hide crease and ligature lines.

Self ties require patience and practice to get the knots where you want them. You can cheat with some of these knots by making a knotted string that slides along the length of the body to position it for maximum effect. Maybe not the most elegant solution but easier that doing a full rewrap.

Sometimes having a third or fourth set of hands is what will be necessary to get it done to your satisfaction.

I'm sort of hoping you flash me some of the rope. I agree with Hamnder this is wild! Very erotic. I didn't know that people wore this under their cloths either until now. I knew they did it at home and that's hot but wearing it out secretly is even hotter.

I don't know if there's a special way to do it in Shibari, but when I make a crotch rope, I measure with a spot on the body of the subject. I usually use the navel, and measure down from there, and if necessary, mark the rope so you know where to tie the other knot that keeps it in place.

Of course, you can't use the same rope on all women, because they will all measure differently. It's just a little learning curve before you get the hang of (1st) how to measure and (2nd) how to tie it so it is where it's suppose to be. You have to hold your mouth just right, too.
