Shibari/RopeWork Appreciation

It doesn't have to involve penetrative sex, you don't even have to be naked, but Shibari with a partner ALWAYS involves submission - you have to trust the person that ties you up not to hurt you when you don't have any way to protect yourself. How else do you want to call this dynamic?

While doing the tie his hands will be dancing all over your body. This is sex to me. That's why I said that penetrative sex doesn't have to happen, not sex in general.
It's the intimacy of their hands that teases your senses. The trust involved is also very intimate.

Does that have a name?
The technical name is the Carrick bend with ends adjacent, or the Two Coins knot. It's rather easy to tie, but in this configuration, it is purely decorative, as the addition of any tension will cause it to roll and spill. The original form of this knot is the Carrick bend with ends opposite, which will hold tension.
