This is a very interesting lacing idea. There seems to be no real anchors, though at the tops of the arms... I wonder if they are around the front? I obviously need to spend more time examining.

You know I didn't notice that at first, I wonder if she doesn't have on hidden under her arms or hands. Though it could be for the photograph only and not entirely secure.
