My neighbor Larry and his wife Rachel moved here from up state NY after their marriage on January 10, 2004. It was a relocation as he started a job with DuPont. Well, a couple of months later DuPont sold the division he worked for and he was laid off. The day he found out about the lay off Rachel told him that she was pregnant with their first child. Larry is currently looking for another job.

Talk about wow!

I was making a site for Rachel to present to Larry as a Father's day gift, and thought that a baby pool would be neat. She loved the idea and it gave her something else to focus on other than the obvious.

Thank you so very much. She called me this morning. She was very happy and excited that people she did know thought of her.

She is so sweet, and drips of candy. It's sad that their bright hopeful beginning was hit with something like this.

Good cheer and well wishes make her smile, and if you look at the pictures you can see that she has a great smile.

Larry is trying his best to keep her from worrying, but he is finding it difficult. He is a great guy, and you can see from the pictures that they look great together.

Thank you ladies very much for playing the Baby Pool. You would believe how much this means to Rachel.

Larry is sweating, of course, trying to find another job, and Rachel is hoping that the site will lift his spirits also when she reveals it to him this coming Father's Day.

When I first met them Rachel's smile seem to brighten everything. Larry worships the ground she walks on, with good reason. When he told me what happened, it seemed like a dark cloud covered the sky. Her smile was gone and you could see the worry in her eyes. It was heartbreaking....

When she talks to me about the responses on the Baby Pool, I can hear the joy in her voice. She is very thankful, and I am thankful to all for helping me lift a woman's spirits.
