……would appreciate some input for a story idea. In fact less in idea than a reality since my partner’s away for a few days visiting her folks, so………..

The simple outline is based around Sophie. She‘s lived in London 10 years but is spending a summer month visiting family back home in France for the first time in too long. Her English partner of the last 5 years has too much going on at work to make the trip, and agrees it’d be good for her to have some time exclusively for her folks and friends.

A few days into the break she enjoys an evening out with girlfriends from her college days, and has a great time in a couple of bars later that evening talking with familiar people. More than once she gets compliments and attention from guys she remembers, and some she doesn’t……..……

…………..I want this background to facilitate a few “scenes” where Sophie gets to experience some things she previously hadn’t, 2 guys, or a girl maybe. But I wondered whether to work her absent partner from England back into the story, and whether she should tell him about her intentions in advance………..?

It depends how you see this relationship: is she trying to tease him or dominate him or turn him on with these encounters or is he wanting her to do that, so he’s trying to get her to do things? If she’s basically cheating on him, then I don’t think she’d tell him anything or involve him.

He could always make a surprise weekend visit, regardless of her motives.

This is right on the money.

Perhaps her first “encounter” is a mild one, which she feels excited but guilty about and confesses to - as you say only to find her guy is happy with it - and more is eagerly encouraged.

He first “real” moment should be with an old girl friend she once spent the night with, and subsequently the same girl introduces her husband into the picture………….and since the setting is a summer in France I see an opportunity for outdoor settings, during the day or night.

In particular I want a scene where Sophie finds herself spread across the hood of a car, illuminated by moonlight in the middle of nowhere, and entertaining 3 men she drove there with.

More scenes needed first I think.

If she hooks up with a girl in scene 1, and with the same girl and her partner in the third then I need her getting with a guy for scene 2 - by the pool I think, when everyone else is out for the day.

Scene 4 is with the three guys, over the car. The 5th and final should maybe require her boyfriends involvement…?

Yes, I think that works best. The boyfriend, who’d had his head in work too much, has his sexual interest in her completely rekindled as he hears each of her encounters described.

All "experiences" stem from the family. Her French family. In which her mother is the daughter that married an American naval officer. A lifetime Navy man that had enough rank to enable the family, husband, wife and daughter, to relocate to London, England. Such a move would enable the mother to be closer to family, the daughter to enroll in the American School in London as a stepping stone to Oxford and put the father in a fast track Naval base commission.

Skylar's uncle, her mother's older brother, owns a Calvados distillery in Normandy. This would be the first of three French family visits. The uncle is cordial yet tedious as he thinks that she is interested in being a part of the business. On one of her many distillery tours she meets the non-family couple that runs the pub that fronts the distillery. The uncle is called away which the couple happily accepts the role of hosts. They bring her into their pub for drinks that include an under the counter apple moonshine that is not for public consumption. All of which removes any inhibitions that she might have about the couple inviting her to a weekly members only brandy and cognac tasting that is essentially a swingers' orgy.

Skylar's aunt, her mother's younger sister, married well to an aristocrat that unexpected passed and left her with a fortune and a centuries old villa in Monaco. This would be her second family visit which she was advised to pack light as most of the time would be spent at the beach. In actuality, the wardrobe was lighter than she expected as most of their time was spent at a nude beach within walking distance. Here, Skylar met a woman that spoke English even better than she did. The aunt sensed the immediate chemistry with this woman and resumed her daytime role as a curator of small art museum. Skylar spent her days with her newly found friend completely naked as this was the environment Monique worked in as escort service for lesbians. Almost immediately, Skylar became a customer of Monique's with agreement that the service would be free during the day as long as payment was settled at night through personal barter with Monique.

Skylar would spend the last two weeks in Paris with her cousins, her uncle's son and daughter, Antoine and Delphine. The first week would be filled with sightseeing and exploring all the histories that France's capital city could offer an English tourist. Yet, the nightlife was not what Skylar expected as her cousins would retire early with the excuse that they were helping a farmer friend who recently lost two of his milkers to a competitor. So, her nights were spent on the ground floor watching French television while her cousins were above her sleeping away. One night, she too decided to go to bed early which would take her to the third floor. On the way up to the second floor bathroom, she heard the familiar sounds of lovemaking coming from Antoine's bedroom. Silently, upon approaching the source of those carnal noises, she saw her cousins naked by candlelight shamelessly and sexually pleasuring each other. What she was witnessing he knew was forbidden but it kept her and drew her in. To the point that she ended up in the room standing and watching until she was discovered. Her robe immediately fell to the floor to expose her body as well as her shared desire.
The last week her partner would be joining her in Paris with accommodations at a B & B nearby her cousins duplex.
